ANAYA is a production company based in the state of Minas Gerais (Brazil), that focuses mainly on the creation of films for mature audiences. The company is geared towards the study of aesthetics and language of animation cinema, often intertwining fiction and documentary.
ANAYA seeks to maintain partnerships with other production companies, both local and abroad, ensuring the viability of projects such as NIMUENDAJÚ - currently in production, as the first animated feature-film of Minas Gerais (supported by BNDES, ANCINE and Filme em Minas); FELICIDADE (a project contemplated by the PRODAV 04/2014 and ANCINE/BRDE - MinC public notice); O FILHO DA PUTA, co-produced with Otto Guerra (awarded first place in the “Selection of production proposals and/or finalization of feature-films” notice, by CODEMIG), in 2017; MINAS DE TODO DELÍRIO (awarded first place in the “Development of feature-length audiovisual projects for cinema and television series” notice, by CODEMIG in 2017), and PALMEIRAS DO ALTO (awarded first place in the “Independent view, pre licensing audiovisual works for public television” notice), by CODEMIG in 2017.
